Area President, Central Texas

Austin, TX


Growing $1 billion plus bank, and is part of Carlile Bancshares, is seeking a community-oriented market President for the Austin, Texas area. This position will oversee four locations in Austin and one in Marble Falls, with over $100 million in assets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: management and profitability of area branches, helping identify future branch locations in and around the Austin area, growing the brand and market share through an existing team while building an additional team, and providing leadership, direction and goals for the area team. Job Summary: Responsible for the profitability, administration, daily operation and sales management of multiple branches in a defined geographic area; provides leadership, direction and goals for the area team.

Education: Related college degree or successful completion of banking courses is preferred.


Experience: 5 to 7 years of related banking experience in general operations, lending and regulatory compliance are required. Must have credit analysis training in order to perform complex credit and financial analysis to support loan decisions.

Loan Administrative Assistant

JOB SUMMARY: The main function of this position is to assist the Area President and their team in all aspects of dealing with officers, employees and customers. This position provides a variety of tasks associated with loan processing and customer service; is responsible for insuring compliance with established policies and standards for documenting loans. The incumbent maintains numerous confidential files and account information and processes loan documentation; performs all required functions with discretion and sensitivity, and provides the highest quality of service to every customer.


Education: High school diploma or equivalent educational experience is required.


Experience: The minimum required job-related experience needed to demonstrate competence to perform the job is three years in banking with an emphasis on loan documentation.


Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Tact and diplomacy in dealing with both customers and employees
  • Requires high level of organizational, interpersonal, communications, and customer relations skills.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively to customers, superiors, and peers
